Reconstruction surgery

It deals with the restoration of congenital and acquired defects on the skin surface. For example, schistasis, skin swelling, burnts , scars etc.

In order to restore the defect the plastic surgeon can use implants, special tools and cuttingsfor better results.

Grafting
Moving tissue from its normal position (donor)to a new one (recipient) is called grafting and the tissue is called graft.

Island grafts
Parts of tissue transplanted from a donor to a recipient area maintaining its original hematosis.
